YWiB x WestPeak: Stock Pitch Competition Application Period

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗪𝗶𝗕 𝘅 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻!

YWiB x WestPeak Stock Pitch Competition is focused on creating a space in which participating students can develop and exercise their investment skills in a team setting. This case competition represents an incredible opportunity to demonstrate your market knowledge in front of industry professionals, all while gaining a diverse set of knowledge in the capital markets field. This event will also feature an exclusive networking session available to all applicants in the final round.

🏆 $1500 cash prize for first place

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Round 1: Written Case Report
Final Round: The top 5 teams will have the opportunity to submit their slide deck & pitch their stock to a panel of judges.

𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀:
☑️ Teams must consist of 3-4 students with at least 50% of the team identifying as female
☑️ All applicants must be UBC students
☑️ All applicants who have been selected must be YWiB members to compete (https://www.showpass.com/ywib-membership/.)
☑️ All competitors must be available to present on March 18th

Please submit one application form per team or apply solo! Solo applicants will be assigned into teams. Spots for solo participants may be subject to the number of solo applicants. Deadline to apply: January 28, 11:59pm PST.
