Women in the Workplace

On November 18th at 5pm, UBC WEC will be hosting a free, online seminar “Women in the Workplace”.
We will be hosting three women in three different professions (non-profit founder, engineer, lawyer) to share their experiences about their work and the effects of inequitable gender ratios and societal gender expectations on their careers. We hope that this will provide under-represented students the opportunity to learn from and network with our guest speakers, and strengthen our community at UBC.
This event is open to everyone (students, staff, faculty etc) who are interested in hearing what our three amazing speakers have to say!
