Mini Case Competition

Are you a student that has always wanted to dive into the world of case competing, but has felt intimated by the large time commitments and high-pressure environment? Are you a student that has just begun to explore the business world, and is interested in garnering tangible experience?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the previous questions, then JDC Junior Dev’s Mini Case Competition may be for you!

At JDC Junior Dev, our mission is to offer case skill development to junior-year students who have interests but limited experience in case competitions. Through our first event of the year, we will be hosting a mini case competition for interested beginner students. The event will be held in a no-pressure environment; experienced judges will be listening to your presentations with the sole purpose of giving you feedback. We will be hosting the event in a few separate classrooms at Sauder, so you will not have to present in front of a large crowd. Rather, you will simply present to the judges and the other teams in your classroom.

The featured case will be sent to teams 5 days before the presentation date, so you will not have to deal with the high-pressure time constraints of actual case competitions. In this week’s span, you must be prepared to commit 3-6 hours to prepare with your team.
