Care2Give @ TWECS: Volunteer with CCP! (Session 4)

This year, CCP is looking to create a stronger impact by bringing long-term, recurring volunteering opportunities to you. This term, we have partnered up with the Third World Eye Care Society (TWECS) to offer biweekly volunteer opportunities for the Sauder community.

TWECS is a 100% volunteer registered Canadian charity that collects old unused eyeglasses to distribute with eye exams given by trained individuals to developing countries where individuals are unable to obtain eyeglasses due to poverty or lack of availability of eye care services. As volunteers, we will help sort, wash, and measure eyeglasses at the warehouse. This volunteering opportunity will run biweekly on Mondays 6:30pm – 9:00pm from Oct 18th to November 29th. You are welcome to join us for one, several, or all of our trips to the TWECS warehouse – sign up for other sessions by checking the CUS event calendar!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are limited to 9 volunteer spots per session so sign up ASAP!
