With Diwali right around the corner, SISA presents to you its grand Samosa Sale! Diwali, the Festival of Lights🪔, is India’s most important festival of the year—a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.
Widely observed among more than a billion people from a variety of faiths across India, the five days of Diwali are marked by prayer🙏, feasts🍯, fireworks🎇, family gatherings👨‍👩‍👦‍👦, and charitable giving🎗. The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, Goddess of prosperity, with many other regional traditions connecting the holiday to the Hindu mythological Gods- Sita and Rama, Vishnu, Krishna, Ganesha, Kubera, Dhanvantari, or Vishvakarman. Although Diwali’s significance may have different origins for each religion, the abundance of sweets, family gatherings, and the lighting of clay lamps are common to all.

We invite you to get together and celebrate this joyous festival with us! You can interac or pay $2 in cash for the food right at our booth!
